Sunderland Leather, Inc. specializes in North American hides, specifically whitetail deerskin and bison leather. Deerskin has a soft, rich feel and is primarily used for making garments, gloves, footwear, handbags and crafts. The average size of a deerskin is between seven and eleven square feet and 0.6-2.0 millimeters thick.

We offer our leather in both grain and split leather; grain being the outer part of the skin (hair side) and the split resulting from the shaving of the skins to uniform thickness also known as suede, the inner part of the skin.
We offer leather in crust/pearl/stain, grain or split leather, shoe weight or glove weight, water resistant and washable leathers, environmental tannages. We are always looking for the most sustainable tannages and environmentally friendly.
Sunderland Leather is not limited to deerskin; we also have bison, goat, cow, moose, elk and horse leathers. Our leather is custom selected, split or shaved to your exact thickness and colored to your specifications. We offer every customer both quality and service, whether for garment, glove, shoe, handbag, craft or upholstery. For more information on how we can meet your specific needs, Please Contact Us.
